FAQ: Wagyu Wisdom

What Is Wagyu?

Wagyu is a breed of cattle that originated in Japan. "Wa" means Japanese and "Gyu" means cow.

Why is Wagyu a Superior Beef?

Wagyu beef is unlike any other beef breed in the world. It is known for its intense bright white marbling, supremely rich flavor, and succulent texture. Once you taste Iron Table Wagyu, you'll understand there is simply nothing else like it.

Why is Iron Table Wagyu Unique?

Iron Table Wagyu prides itself on the quality of care the cattle receive from birth to harvest, which we know results in a higher quality of beef. Our 100% full blood Japanese Black Wagyu cattle are DNA verified to Japan, and are 100% naturally fed and raised, no hormones or antibiotics ever.

Our cattle are raised very similarly to the way they are raised in Japan. Iron Table cattle have 24/7 access to shelter, are cooled by fans on hot summer days, are provided clean soft bedding to lay on, and have relaxing music played for them throughout their living areas. The reason our Iron Table cattle produce such intensely marbled beef is because of the level of care they receive. From our farm to your plate, Iron Table Wagyu - A Different Breed.
